In presentation management, files are never done. Instead, they evolve, just like the businesses they represent. Slides and decks continually morph and adjust to the market and to the world in which the business operates. The companies and organizations that get the most out of presentation management evolve their content through a constant lifecycle – or what we call The Wheel. The process illustrated by The Wheel involves seven steps that generally follow each other, leading back to the beginning.

Yesterday evening, our bank invited us to a presentation by one of their insurance consultants. Since I am in the business of presenting, I always love to be part of the audience. I did not know at that time that I was going to run into something I have never experienced before! What I encountered was a thin smile. The presenter had this thin smile plastered on his face right from the start to the end of his presentation, and that lasted for a good hour and a half. Fortunately, I had my tablet with me. So, I used it to good advantage to pencil all my thoughts immediately!

Creating slides is just one part of what you would do as part of your presentation. Delivering those slides will complete the process. In an earlier post, we explored a Checklist for Creating Presentations. In this post, we undertake a similar, planned checklist to deliver your slides. We have compiled a list of activities to do before delivering your slides. Let's call this a presentation delivery checklist.
Make sure that these prerequisites are in place before you deliver your presentation.

Since 2001, we have heard the 30 million figure as the number of PowerPoint presentations created each day. Many years have gone by, and no one has provided a new, updated number—but someone did provide a number that was largely unnoticed as the figure was a passing reference in a keynote that spoke about so much more?

Insert a new shape into a PowerPoint slide, and you'll see that it may be filled with a solid color and has an outline by default (this may differ depending on the Theme applied to your presentation). You can remove the fill of the shape as well as the line. In this tutorial, we'll learn how to remove the line attribute, also known as the outline from a shape so that it only includes a fill without any line. Whatever you do, make sure that you remove either the fill or the line because if you remove both, then your shape will no longer be visible.

You or someone else created a PDF from the PowerPoint file, and then, lost the original PowerPoint file due to data loss, or just inadvertently deleted the file. Or you received a PDF with a hundred photos from a client who wants you to put them within a PowerPoint presentation. If not photos, you need slides that look exactly like the PDF pages! To work conventionally in any of the two situations mentioned above is a long process. You will have to manually copy and paste, and even then, the results will be far from satisfactory. You clearly need a better option to resolve this problem. Fortunately, the subject of our review today is CleverPDF, a product that can achieve surprisingly great results with good fidelity in the converted PowerPoint file.
