Often, you might want to convert your PowerPoint slides, handouts, or notes to a PDF that can be distributed. The biggest advantage of creating a PDF is that it can be viewed on any platform: Windows, Mac, or Linux, and it can also be password protected. You can also include slide transitions to some extent in PDFs created fropm PowerPoint, and make them play full screen to mimic a PowerPoint slide show.
