On a webinar that I was watching on a phone, the presenter shared a slide with numbers. There were many numbers, and they were small. The same goof-up had happened at a destination conference a few months ago! The text size on the slide was teeny-weeny, and you could not see much, even if you squinted your eyes. This time, the problem was not that the presenter had used 8 point text on the slide; this text was 20 points, and that did not make it too small. Even then, in a large room, you still could not read the text!

Yes, the title of this post is "5 Ideas to Help You Remember Your Speech," but it could have been "Remember Your Story" or even "Remember Your Narrative." You could be using this speech, story, or narrative at a boardroom meeting, or presenting in front of hundreds of colleagues. Slide titles are very important. First of all, they identify a slide. Secondly, they provide structure to your presentation, because anyone who uses PowerPoint’s Outline view will not be happy to see slides without titles. So why do we hear some people say that they do need slide titles, but they don’t need them to be visible. In other words, they need hidden slide titles.
