Uploading PowerPoint File to OneDrive

Learn how to upload a PowerPoint file to OneDrive.

OneDrive is a cloud offering from Microsoft that at its basic level, is completely free for anyone to use. The only requirement is that you need to have a Microsoft account. Thereafter OneDrive allows you to share your files with anyone or everyone. Having said so, you first need to upload the file to OneDrive.

Follow these steps to learn how to upload a PowerPoint presentation to OneDrive:

  1. Sign in to your OneDrive account. Within the OneDrive page, click the Upload button (highlighted in red within Figure 1).

  2. This opens the File Upload dialog box, as shown in Figure 2. Here select the file you want to upload to OneDrive and click the Open button (highlighted in red within Figure 2).

  3. This will start the uploading process, as shown highlighted in red within Figure 3.

  4. Once the uploading is over, the word ‘Done’ shows up (highlighted in red within Figure 4).

  5. The uploaded file can be also seen within the Files list on Onedrive, highlighted in red within Figure 5.
