While PowerPoint does have an option to automatically compare presentations, sometimes doing this comparison manually can be actually more effective, especially when you have fewer changes in the first place. You can place both presentations side by side and compare individual slides.
Follow these steps to manually compare two presentations in PowerPoint 2013:
- Open two presentations.
- Access the View tab of the Ribbon and click the Arrange All button, as shown highlighted in red within Figure 1.
Figure 1: Arrange All button- This will arrange both the presentations in different windows side by side, as shown in Figure 2. You can now compare individual slides on both presentations with each other.
Figure 2: Arranged presentations side by side- If you want to copy slides between two presentations, you can change the view on both open presentations to Slide Sorter view, as shown in Figure 3.
