Product Showcase

This tutorial is part of the PowerPoint to Secure PDF series. In this tutorial I'll show you how to reorder slide pages in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Changing the order of pages in a PDF is very easy, using the drag-and-drop capability within Acrobat's Navigation tab.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open any PDF that you want to reorder pages for within Adobe Acrobat Pro. When the PDF is opened for the first time, the interface might look like as what you can see in Figure 1.

    Open PDF

  2. From the View menu, choose Navigation Panels | Pages, as shown in Figure 2.

  3. This will open the Pages navigation panel in Adobe Acrobat Pro interface, as shown in Figure 3.

Alternatively, you can even choose the Pages button within Adobe Acrobat Pro (see Figure 4).

  4. Now just drag and drop the thumbnails in Pages navigation panel to rearrange the pages as required in your document, as shown in Figure 5.

  5. Save the re-ordered PDF.

In the next tutorial of this series, we'll explore how to edit a PDF so that it opens by default in full screen mode.

Adobe Captivate's Edit View

In an earlier post last week, I discussed Adobe Captivate's views and compared them to PowerPoint's deafult views. I also explained about the Storyboard View. In this post, I'll look at Captivate's Edit view, which in many ways is similar to PowerPoint's Normal view. If you are not already in Edit view within Captivate, choose the View drop-down in the toolbar, and select Edit View.
