Excerpt/Capsule: Learn to compare presentation slides in PowerPoint 2011 for Mac.
There may be circumstances when you want to compare two or more presentations side by side. In this tutorial you are going to learn how you can place presentations side by side and compare individual slides -- this is not a comprehensive compare option, but it does allow you to compare the slides.
However that will get you to another roadblock -- viewing more than one PowerPoint presentation at the same time is little difficult because you have to keep switching between windows. However, PowerPoint 2011 does allow you to open more than one PowerPoint presentation side by side -- follow these steps to compare two presentations in PowerPoint 2011 for Mac:
- Open two presentations.
- Access the Window menu and select Arrange
All option as shown in
Figure
1.
Figure 1: Arrange All option within the Window menu
- This will arrange both the presentations in different windows side by side, as shown in Figure 2. You can now compare individual slides on both
presentations with each other.

Tip: This does not have anything to do with comparison, but if you want to copy slides between the two open presentations, you can change the view on both open presentations to Slide Sorter, as shown in Figure 3.
