I visited Mamallapuram near Chennai, India in January 2003. Here
are a few pictures from the trip taken using a Fuji S602 digital
camera.
Mamallapuram (also called Mahabalipuram) is a UNESCO World Heritage
site built by the Pallava dynasty. The beautiful Shore Temple here
is supposed to be the only remaining one from a series of seven
similar temples - the rest of them have since been washed away
by the sea.
