Mahabaleshwar Pictures

Mahabaleshwar is a hill town located close to Mumbai and Pune
in the state of Maharashtra, India. Here are a few pictures from
my trip in May 2003 taken using a Fuji S602 digital camera.
Mahabaleshwar owes its name to the temple in the older part of
the town dedicated to the God (Lord Shiva) of the same name. Famous
for its view points, Mahabaleshwar along with Panchagini, another
hill town nearby has attracted tourists for over a century now.
