PowerPoint Feedback and UserVoice: Does This Go Anywhere?
PowerPoint Feedback and UserVoice: Does This Go Anywhere?

Do you see the dashboard-like screen in the display shown in the picture above? There's a story behind that display! Feedback from end users is always important for any product. However, what do you do when the product in question is PowerPoint? Yes, the same PowerPoint presentation program that millions of people have been using for more than 25 years. Predictably, feedback just needs to raise itself to a whole new level.

Feature List 01 (Layout with Tabs)
Feature List 01 (Layout with Tabs)

The Feature List Layout comprises three sample PowerPoint presentations -- one each to create a visual list for 4 features, 5 features, and 6 features. These work great when you have too much information to fit within one slide. This solution lets you use multiple slides, but the visual result is still that of one single slide!

The Star Wars credits style is a kind of Crawl animation. In this style, the text crawls from bottom to the top, as it also does with Crawl. Additionally, the text diminishes in size all the time until it fades into oblivion. It is a real neat effect, and it is possible to accomplish it in PowerPoint if you combine multiple animations.

Change Slide Layout

Each PowerPoint presentation contains several slides which many users believe are akin to a blank canvas or an empty sheet of paper! You can thereafter add content to the slides in much the same way as you use brushes to create strokes of paint to color a canvas. For example, do you want some text -- you add a text box. Want a picture -- just insert a picture and place it anywhere on your slide! Wait -- this is not really the way that you work with PowerPoint!
Live Preview

Editing slide objects works almost the same way, irrespective of what you are actually editing -- you select the object you want to edit and change some attributes -- you then get to see what your changes have caused -- and then you either undo your changes (if you are not too happy with them) or just accept them and start working with another object. What if you could see/preview how an actual change will look on the slide object before you decide to accept or decline that change? PowerPoint 2016's Live Preview allows you to do just that -- this feature was first introduced in PowerPoint 2007 and continues being available in newer versions.
Switch Views Between Multiple Presentations

Let's imagine you have four presentations open and you can only see the one that is active. What about the other three presentations? How do you navigate to those presentations without having to close, or minimize the active presentation? In this tutorial, you will learn how to switch between multiple open presentations in PowerPoint 2016. With this option, you can easily switch in between different presentation windows (without reducing the window size).

Hyperlinks for Action Buttons

Just inserting Action Buttons on your slide is not sufficient -- you need to apply hyperlinks to them so that they have some function. You have already learnt how to insert Action Buttons. In this tutorial we'll learn more detailed techniques on working with Action Buttons. Each Action Button has a default action associated -- this typically is a hyperlink to some other slide in your presentation. You can change this link, or even add another link such as a link to your web site, another document, and more.
