Dec 7, 06 - RibbonCustomizer
The new ribbon tabs in Office 2007 change dynamically
depending upon what task you are doing -- yet unlike
the old toolbars of pre-Office 2007 applications, there's
no way you can create a new ribbon tab in PowerPoint
2007? That's not entirely true though sine you can
actually create and edit the ribbon tabs in PowerPoint
and other Office 2007 applications using a third-party
add-in called RibbonCustomizer.

Dec 1 , 06 - PowerPlugs Animator
By far, the only way to make text stand out is by
using color and animation. And even animation is not
uncomplicated -- presentation designers often have
to tweak PowerPoint's animation timings and the timeline
to create out of the ordinary animation effects. PowerPlugs
Animator from CrystalGraphics tries to provide a solution
-- it includes a library of animation styles that enhance
PowerPoint's built in effects -- these can also be
imparted to text with a few clicks.

Nov 27, 06 - PPTshare File Compressor
I always like to think of PowerPoint as a glue that
holds disparate media together -- these media elements
include sound, movies, pictures, clip art, and animation
clips. Judiciously used, these elements can make your
presentation look good -- but they can also dramatically
increase file sizes. Optimization software is the solution
-- and there are many such programs available. The
newest of them all is PPTshare File Compressor -- this
allows you to optimize presentations using different
compression levels.

Oct 6, 06 - WildPresenter Lite
In a separate review, I looked at WildPresenter
which is actually a suite of applications that includes
capture, an editing environment, and PowerPoint to
Flash export options. Wildform, the company that
creates WildPresenter recognizes that many users
don't need all those options -- so they created a
scaled down version called WildPresenter Lite that
