NewSoft announced the WMS 200 Video wireless projector adapter, that complements the existing WMS 100 Image adapter. The WMS 200 transmits lossless, high quality MPEG-1, 2, and 4 video, music, high-resolution images, and presentations featuring animation and audio.
The WMS series are the first adapters that wirelessly link WiFi-ready laptops directly to projectors and displays. Expected to retail at a price of $349, the WMS 200 enables you to broadcast video, audio, pictures and slides from anywhere in the room to high resolution projectors and displays.
The WMS 200 also includes the Presto! WMS software, which controls access to the adapter and also offers an interface for broadcasting content.
The wireless projector adapter can support resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 at 16/24/32 bit color modes and is compliant with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g standard.

Imagine you're on the final legs of a never-ending road trip. You arrive at the 100th client meeting that week to deliver the PowerPoint you slaved over for weeks. Just as you set up, the projector in the room goes dead. What do you do? Why not use the projector on your smartphone?
Well, right now you can't do that. But if Motorola has anything to say about it, this scenario will soon become a reality.

The NewSoft WMS100 Image Wireless Projector Adaptor connects to any VGA-compatible projector. With the included software, called Presto, up to three computers can control a presentation and capture and display their own screens at any time. The device itself ($280 at www.newsoftinc.com) looks like a walkie-talkie with an antenna on one side and a VGA/XVGA connection. It is compatible with three Wi-Fi standards (802.11a, b and g), and the software even enables slides to be exchanged among participants, bypassing the screen entirely.
