My kids go to Mt Baker schools in washington and my son in 5th grade has had several hours of instruction on how to design and present PowerPoint presentations and the high school here requires all graduating seniors to do a 1 hour presentation as part of a project they work on for their entire high school experience.

The ability of young children to make full use of modern technology never ceases to amaze me. During a recent visit to a primary school in Canberra Australia I watched fascinated as a whole class of children produced work in PowerPoint.
The artwork was produced by my 9-year-old grandson, who used the dot painting technique used by many of Australia's Aboriginal painters, to produce his own version of a camp fire scene. You can read the story at: www.powerpointhowto.com/kids/kidspowerpoint.htm
