Paul Jones of Crunchy Software informed me that WowChart has been updated to version 1.4.2. WowChart can now display bar charts of multi row tables. It also has visual improvements and bars can have gradient fills. Text on the chart is now antialiased to make it much clearer. You can also now have multiline headings. There is a new map "Plateau" showing a desert oasis from high above on a cliff. Download a free trial of WowChart here...

OperaShow is a great way to create slides. Because the slides are authored in HTML, they can be used on any operating system that supports the Opera web browser. The Asset Quality and Disposition Division is responsible for the quality of our assets (loans) and reporting this to management. To achieve this goal we use several Microsoft Access databases to gather, organize, sort, summarize and generate reports and presentations. In the past we would export data to Microsoft Excel and then link to our Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. Now with Take-off’s DataPoint software we are able to skip the middle step of using Microsoft Excel, saving us a lot of time and completely automated. Microsoft is working on a new shopping Web site for software, hardware, and peripherals that it plans to advertise in the Windows XP Start Menu and the Internet Explorer Web browser. Called "Windows Marketplace," the Web site is slated to go live for U.S. Windows users by year's end, according to Microsoft, which plans to officially announce the online store on Monday at its Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto. Home Theatre is all the rage right now, and those lucky enough (or having enough spare sheckles) to run to a complete surround sound system and whiz-bang large plasma screens are the envy of all and sundry. Especially with the Olympics coming up (oh and footy season, V8 Supercars, Wimbledon etc etc)!
