The Antivirus Defense-in-Depth Guide
Microsoft announced the release of their Antivirus Defense-in-Depth Guide on the web. Although many organizations have deployed antivirus software, malware continues to rapidly infect computer systems around the world. There is no individual reason for this, but the current situation indicates that the standard approach of deploying antivirus software on each computer is not sufficient. Microsoft created this guidance to help IT and security staff better understand the threats that malware poses to more effectively plan a sound defense against them.

Microsoft Office 2004 released; Test Drive available
While some users have reported receiving their copies of Office 2004 for several days now, Microsoft Corp.'s Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU) will officially announce availability of the application suite on Wednesday. Microsoft will eventually offer Office in three configurations and are going ahead with the launch despite the fact their high-end configuration will not be available until Virtual PC 7 is ready later this year. In this post, I'll look at Captivate's Edit view, which in many ways is similar to PowerPoint's Normal view. If you are not already in Edit view within Captivate, choose the View drop-down in the toolbar, and select Edit View.
